Things have gotten a lot better. Earlier this year -- in February, right after the Hope -- I found out I would basically stand up and arch my back at the top of the swing. It prevented me from playing well, and was also giving me back problems. I was basically hurting myself with every swing. And I was making huge compensations. I had to take two months off, and it took months after that to get to playing well again.

I was walking down the last fairway with Kenny Perry , and it had been a long day, and I go, 'You knew I was slow, but you didn't know I was nine hours slow!' At first he was just flummoxed. But then he said, 'Don't sell yourself short. You weren't slow today.' I went, 'Thank you.'

OK, let's see. I love to go to Montana, and stand in the river in my waders, and listen to the water rush past my legs as I'm casting a dry fly with mountains on either side of me. Beyond that, winning a few more tournaments would help.

We've tried to shave maybe 10 or 15 seconds off each shot, and we're pretty close, ... It's gotten to the point where I'm not in violation when I'm hitting shots like I probably would have been a few months ago.

They do. When you're working on things, the information takes some time to get from your head to your body. As I get more comfortable with the changes, things will get better.

This golf course is as good and as hard as it gets. There were some places around the greens where you could hit a decent shot and wind up three feet off the green and really have no shot.
