We just stepped up and took the shots we could make. We have shooters on this team and Cathrine got the bulk of those.
They are a lot more dangerous now. She's exactly what they needed.
We did a great job on the offensive boards, getting them off the boards in the second half. Even so, they still go off 12 more shots than us.
We executed well, and shared the ball really well. They came out and tried to trap, and we did a good job of making the extra pass.
From a personal aspect, I'm sad to see them go and obviously I wish them all the best. But I think it's going to be exciting, the new team we put on the floor.
She's very quick, very athletic. She's very good now, she can be very, very good. We're going to expect her to come in and contribute right away. It's a lot of pressure on a young kid, but I think she's capable.
The other leaders up there all have a championship ring,
We have a lot of veterans on this team; we know what it's going to take. We're ready for battle ... I guarantee we are going to leave it out on the floor.
Eight years ago, I was over there, at the table where no reporters or press was, nobody wanted to talk to me. And now, I am the veteran.
It's going to be fun, challenging. I think we're going to be competitive. We got a lot of good things to look forward to. I'm excited to see what it looks like, what the final product is going to be at the end of the season.
They were very committed to shutting down the guard play in the first half. It exerts a lot of energy trying to chase those guards around the perimeter. We just had to stick in there and get our posts some looks and get them involved.
We're starting to come together a little more. We're starting to put it together.
We have to get to the offensive glass. We didn't crash the boards when we should have. We settled for jumpers instead of getting to the line.
We didn't crash the boards when we should have, ... We settled for jumpers instead of getting to the line.
