We thought we got our defense under us in the first half and kind of set the tone for the rest of the game. We had a little lull defensively in the third quarter, but they're a very good offensive basketball team and they weren't going to come out of the locker room lying down.
We have three centers and none of those guys can do any cameos at small forward or point guard, so that leaves the rest of the guys. We need them to play now.
Tonight we needed a good start and that set the tempo for the rest of the game.
You're not always going to get a double-double but we want him to play with emotion and intensity. Does what he did tonight make coach happy for the rest of the playoffs? No way. He's still paying me back.
Overall it was a good team effort and we were fortunate enough to be able to rest some guys in the fourth quarter.
I'm glad to get this series over. Obviously, we would have had four swings at it. I'm glad to get it on the first swing. Now it's time for us to try to get some rest and get some bodies healed and get back to practice, because that's my favorite part of this whole deal.
