This is not any new threat information that we have. This is simply an ongoing security measure that we've put in place. This is the kind of thing the public will see from time to time whenever we are concerned about a particular route,
I don't know whether the Attorney General was responding to a question in a news conference, but that's the reason that Homeland Security is the agency that the President has designated to communicate changes in the threat level. And Secretary Ridge addressed that subsequently. I think it goes to show that there's different voices, and, as we have created the Department, we tried to bring that together so there's one focal point of communication as to the threats that we face and how the public is supposed to respond to it, and that's Homeland Security.
There is a concern that we just simply do not create rules that inconvenience the public, but do not enhance our security capability. So that's what we're weighing,

I can certainly say that it was never a consideration in raising the threat level because that's what I was personally involved in. But I know in every circumstance, whether it's Justice Department or Homeland Security or the White House, politics was never a consideration from the President on down.
I want to take my experience and bring it to Arkansas.

Anytime we can have the domestic policy adviser to the president of the United States, we have to take advantage of it. It's important for us to make Arkansas' case to a key person in the administration.
That's a misguided way to approach it, since a lottery would exploit the very people this proposal is designed to help.
We will be prepared when the trial commences in the Senate to go forward with the evidence, to present witnesses and to present a case that they can make a good judgment on.
To put this in perspective, planes with pilots from the United Arab Emirates fly into this country every day. We don't ban them. Ship pilots from the UAE can steer ships into U.S. ports every day. We don't ban them, either.
We should have been more careful as far as releasing that,
There's not any Lake View issue here. You have to have standards in the state, but to say you can never adjust those standards is unacceptable.
