near number plays power realize room tough trailing
We scored on that power play near the end after they had a lot of chances. That's tough going in the (dressing) room after that number of power plays and realize you are trailing by one.

I wasn't surprised. He's well known for doing that sort of thing. He gave me a questionable check and I was not happy and I let him know it. I gave him a glove in the face...we won, so I'll take it.
bit definitely good guys load personnel work
We feel good about our personnel here and a lot of guys can do different things. That definitely spreads the work load a bit and that will be good down the road.

We have four lines with at least a 20-goal scorer on it. We certainly think that every line can score. Every time any line is out there, something can happen that's good. You want to see that as a team.

It was deception. We showed character coming back and killing the penalties in overtime. It seemed we had momentum ... we wanted to get that extra point.

They were trying to prove something, and tonight we didn't show up.

He's a leader for us. We have a lot of confidence in him, and he makes sure we play well in front of him. He's a smart player. He's been around a lot. He knows how the guys should play in front of the net.

A goal like that can really hurt a team. That makes it tough for them to think they have a chance to come back. We just played such a good team game. That's what we need.
coaching contribute happy hard penalty points sure winning
I'm sure (the coaching staff) has reasons. They know hockey. I just want to be on a winning team. As a third- or fourth-liner, and as a penalty killer, it's hard to get points out there. I'm just happy to contribute to our success.
