ball chance definitely easy miss turn
We definitely had chance after chance. But then we'd turn the ball over or miss an easy basket.
ball brings definitely kid lauren next people saw shooting surprise talking works
Lauren definitely has the skills. I saw her shooting the ball the other day, and she can still shoot it. I think next year, she's going to surprise some people because you're talking about a kid who works so hard. She brings up her confidence, she'll be fine.
five guards press trap
I know they like to play five guards and they like to get up and down the floor. They like to trap you, press you and do all of those things. They're an offensive-minded team.
both came great played teams
It was just a great ballgame. Both teams came out and played hard.
earn playing slump time took type win
That midseason, end-of-season type of slump we had, we kind of took that time off. But now we've come back from that and we're playing hard, and we had to earn this win tonight.
eight enjoying feeling good hard inside kids state teams time worked
The kids got the whole feeling of being inside that big-time place. That's something they all worked hard for, and to see them down there enjoying that time and enjoying that moment. Only eight teams around the whole state get to do it. It was good to see.
time turn
It won't be easy, but it's up to us to turn it around. It's time to go back to work.
next won
This was our year. We should have won it this year. We'll get it next year.
good job proud takes win
Offensively, I don't know where we were today. Defensively, we did a pretty good job and I'm proud of that. It wasn't pretty, it was pretty ugly, but that's what it takes to win sometimes.
draw great season whatever win
Ballgame? What a ballgame. We didn't draw it up like that, but we will take this. A great win for us, and it has been one thing after another all season long. It has been a grind-it-out kind of season for us, and we'll take whatever comes next.
likes score shot
That's what Tate does. She's a scorer and that's what she likes to do. She likes to shot and score baskets.
eight everybody kids matter matters start team telling wants
Right now, we have about eight kids who could say they're the person to start or be in the game. Sure, everybody wants to start, but I keep telling them to play team basketball. It doesn't matter who starts, it matters who finishes. That's what I would want to do.
acquired activity changing cultures education effective people relationships required sexual viewing
Young people are increasingly viewing sexual activity and relationships as commodities to be acquired and discarded. Clearly, people's sexual cultures are changing and better and more effective sex education is required to keep up.
asked best career days goes injuries kid playing plays time
Nikki is a kid who has battled injuries her whole playing career here. She has never been like, 'I've got to take time off. I've got to be a starter.' Exactly. She just goes in and does what is asked of her, plays and has fun, and I think her best playing days are ahead.
