changes felt hopefully ready
He's one of the aces on the team. When this happened, I felt bad. Nothing changes for me; it's going to be the same. I'm going to have to keep going out there and pitching. All I want to do now is show them I'm ready, and hopefully I'm ready to make the team.
guys trust trying
I think I was trying to do too much with my pitches. I have to trust myself. I was just trying to get guys out, and I didn't do it very well.
later matter next ready season showing
Let's see what happens. Everything is on standby. It's about showing them we are ready -- no matter if it's now, later this season or next year.
opportunity
Now that I have this opportunity to show them that I can pitch, I have to just go out there and make pitches.
great hill marshall matter pitching rich sean
No matter who it's going to be, I know they'll make the right decision. Sean Marshall is doing a great job, Rich Hill is doing a great job. I'm pitching pretty good. Let's see what happens.
finished good
At least it had a good ending. I think I finished pretty good.
came mouth
After I pitched, Greg Maddux came to me, and he said, 'How are you feeling? And I said my mouth was really dry.
hard work
I want to work hard and let them know I'm ready. I want to be in the big leagues, hopefully.
best chemistry clubhouse good talk wish
He's having a lot of fun. He said they have a pretty good chemistry in the clubhouse and all they talk about is just win. That's what it's all about in the World Classic. I wish the best for them.
far feelings special
So far I don't have any special feelings. I just want to be there and live the moment.
stay time tried
In the beginning, it was kind of weird, you know? First time being at Wrigley Field, and especially when you're pitching, I just tried to stay calm.
