add aspect calls challenges drama human per player tennis time top tv
On top of just getting the calls right time after time, which will be nice, it'll add another aspect for TV viewers. If a player has two challenges per set, it will add drama and excitement. This will add to tennis and take out a lot of human error.
cared perspective tough
I've never cared so much as I care now, which makes it tough. I've been working very hard. It's tough for me to have much perspective right now.
changes dynamic percentage totally
My first-serve percentage was up where I wanted to be and that totally changes the dynamic of a match. All the important stats were good.
dropped fun hit percentage second tried work
It wasn't a whole lot of fun out there, ... I tried to at least hit a volley, make him work a little bit. And that started to work a little. His percentage dropped later, so I was getting a look at his second serve.
almost court follow four games glad good high percentage pressure return returns serve service
It was good 'cause I wanted to return well. I feel like after the first four games of the match, I really started doing that. I put a high percentage of returns in the court and put pressure on him almost every service game. And if I can do that, it will make my serve look that much better to the other guys. I'm glad I was able to follow through on our game plan.
bad either per played points second three
You're going to have two or three points per tiebreaker that's either going to go your way or it's not. It didn't go my way tonight. In the second tiebreaker, I don't think I played a bad point.
aggression authority bit felt needed serve tried
I've tried to serve with a little bit more authority, ... I felt like I needed to become more aggressive. My aggression out there is my weapon.
bit maybe shots top totally
The shots he was able to come up with were very good. Maybe I was a bit spacey out there. I wasn't totally on top of things.
I used to go to the U.S. Open on my birthdays and sit in the nosebleeds.
match quality rub
It would have been unprofessional, ... You don't want that quality of a match to end like that. You would not want to rub it in people's faces.
ball break cleaner early felt hitting playing second sneak
Early on I felt he was hitting the ball a little cleaner than I was but I managed to sneak a break and once I got the break back in the second set I really started playing well.
aspect felt good start
Especially after (Wednesday), I did not feel comfortable about my game, but every aspect of it went fine, ... I felt everything was flowing. I was not thinking, I just played. I had a pretty good start and he felt that.
felt good happened last round run time
First round of the U.S. Open, the last time that happened I was 17. It's not something I expected. You know, I just felt like I was going to have a pretty good run here.
broke came couple found game good playing second shots stuck turned
Fernando came out playing lights-out in the first couple of sets, and I just stuck around and found a way. It was that one game when I broke in the second set. I made a couple good shots and it turned into a riot.
