Once he was gone, the guys didn't really flow in their offence as much. There was a lot of pressure on Parker and (Robert) Horry and those guys, and that really helped us.
I'm just trying to play hard. I'm just proving a point to myself that I can play in this league.
I'm excited just to play, and excited to be in the national spotlight.
I'm definitely honoured to be the No. 1 ticket-holder. I've followed the league since I was a kid and I've got some close friends playing in the NBL.
I'm definitely going to be coming into sport. It will be in Australia. Basketball will hopefully be the priority,
I'm just happy to be a part of the weekend. To be an All-Star is something very special, and that will take a couple years. It might not happen next year, it might happen the year after ? but it's definitely a goal I have in my sights.
I've had two unlucky injuries that are the equivalent of walking under 1,000 ladders and seeing 1,000 black cats.
not as slow as Luc Longley. I can shoot better, I'm more competitive. So I think it's not even fair to bring that name up.
It's very special for me to come and see them play.
It's been good. We go to dinner together and talk about stuff. It's really helped me out. He's seen the worst of things; he's seen the best of things. So he's a good guy to talk to about things.
It'll be fun, but it's more of a fan thing. To me, winning games and getting to the playoffs is the big thing.
They wanted to get out of here, which was good for us.
We tried to make him shoot the jumper in the first half and we brought help on him (in the second half). He started to find teammates, and that's the sign of a great player. He didn't try to come out and get 50. He came out and nearly got a triple-double. The smart players know how to do that.
We just need to know what it feels like to win a playoff game. Even if we don't win this series, as a young team to build for next year it's just good to get a playoff win.
