We just wanted to keep pushing because we knew they were a team that would let you back in the game if we pushed through it.
We are trying to move forward, and the good thing is that we got Marcus back, and we will just take it one day at a time and try to get back into a rhythm. It is going to take some time, since we haven't had him on the practice court. We'll get back into a groove.
Early in the season we were losing these close games. I guess it is a little bit of luck and some hard work.
There's no effort on our team. It was a bad game from the start. . . . (The All-Star break is) a chance to do a little soul searching and look in the mirror.
We dug ourselves a hole. It takes a lot of energy to get back in the game.
It feels good to get off the losing streak.
(Winning the division) was a weight off our shoulders. It's a good accomplishment for this team, and we're ready to move on.
We want to get it over with. It's definitely going to feel good (when we clinch). It's been a rough year. It will be good to do it.
We moved the ball around. Everybody had a chance to do something with the ball. Earl came in and gave us a big lift off the bench.
It's tough to get into a rhythm when you give up 30 points in the first quarter.
It was a big challenge, but I had people along the way to push me and keep me on the right track and that made things a lot easier for me.
It was fun. We wanted to keep the tempo up. We had enough energy to score 44 points and that carried us for a couple of quarters.
We have Howard, a veteran point guard who's going to come in and get the job done.
We played a bad game tonight. But we can go out there and get them tomorrow.
