I think he's very talented. You know, I think had he gone about his career by investing in himself a little bit more, by choosing his tournaments, by trying to peak for the right tournament, I think he could have accomplished a lot more than he has.
The alternative is me not being at my best, me being out there in the situation where I can do more damage to myself and not be part of more tournaments, ... I'm trying to negotiate a career, how I'm going to go about my profession. Making the wrong decision is going to have big ramifications for me at this stage.
I was pleased with the way I improved over the course of the match, ... By the end of the match, I was much more comfortable. But I was a little nervous in the beginning and the ball was really flying. I was trying to go after the ball so it didn't play me, but I wasn't quite committed to letting my swing go, so I was sort of moving forward and not finishing my swing, and I was losing control of a few shots.
I've gotten to a point where I don't even think about them anymore, because I can't afford to weigh myself down with sort of the rat race of trying to keep up with everything, ... I can't do it anymore.
It's an incredible serve. I'm trying to figure out where it is I would need to have to stand on the court to have the same trajectory. You're sort of diving, but then you can't reach it, even if you dive perfectly and on cue.
It's an incredible serve, ... I'm trying to figure out where it is I would need to stand on the court to have the same trajectory. It's not a function of how fast it is because a lot of guys can serve it 135-plus. The trajectory is the main issue because you're lunging, but then it's up. You're sort of diving, but then you can't reach it, even if you dive perfectly and on cue.

When we got done with that match I said he's a top-10 player,
Unfortunately, it doesn't happen as often as you'd like. Two guys need to play well and then the balls need to fall at the right place at the right time to create that sort of drama, and it all came together tonight.
We're going to come down to South Florida really early and visit her family, as well. And I'll be preparing for what will hopefully be a great week and a great year.
When you see a little bit of that edge off, when he comes down into just warp speed, it gives you a little breath of life.
When you're young, you can sleep in till 12,
Some moments it feels longer, other moments it feels like it's flown by; you can't believe you've done it all that time... Overall, you have a strong sense for the full spectrum that you've sort of traveled.
The court was playing pretty fast, it almost felt like playing tennis with golf balls out there. But I am feeling fine physically. I think need a few more matches before I can start competing better.
