So now all of a sudden I'm faced with the reality that I can actually go enjoy the Open this year, because I'm doing a few things right, which is nice to feel, ... Yeah, I like where I am right now.
I was playing a lot of golf, going out a lot, enjoying Brooke's world,
It took me a while to enjoy playing here the first few years,
It's hard for me to put it in context, ... I can say I enjoy playing there more than anywhere else in the world. When you step on the court there, regardless of how you feel, you always push yourself to get the most.
It never seizes to amaze me how much I enjoy playing here and how much you fans have meant to me over the years.
This certainly isn't easy to do at any age, especially at 35. It's been a privilege to play against many of the greatest players over the decades and Roger has been one of the most enjoyable to play against,
This certainly isn't easy to do at any age, especially 35. It's been a privilege to compete against so many great champions over the last couple of decades or so. Without exception, Roger has been one of most enjoyable to compete against. Thank you New York for the last 20 years. It's been a great ride.
I'm going to go home tonight and enjoy myself. But then I'll come back to work tomorrow. I need to work and this is my work. It's what I do. I'm a tennis player, and I'll do it as hard as I can for as long as I can.
I'm enjoying her and the way I feel around her.
I've said before, I don't know how I'm going to go out, ... I know one thing, if I'm out there playing well and giving something back to the sport, it's going to be hard not to give it more.
I've played No. 1 in the world tennis before and there wasn't a time when I ever felt like a favorite,
I settled down on my service games and my ground strokes, put enough pressure on him to get that break.
I've been thinking that for four years. You never know when it's your last go,
It would be great to win, but I have no interest in putting a nice little bow around my career and handing it over to anybody,
