I told the girls there's 24 other teams that would trade places with them. We're one of the top four (1A) teams in the state. That's something to be proud of.

It's not an easy loss to take. We haven't lost since Jan. 13, so we are not used to losing.

It wasn't easy, but we gave the paying customers what they wanted.

They defended us well. We got frustrated and couldn't see anyone open. With double teams, there has to be someone open and we couldn't find them. We also didn't help on the double teams.

We were just discussing in the locker room that now is not the time in the season to be giving up points. That was back in December and January. We talked about playing with confidence. I reminded them that they were the defending region champs.
