bit couple lack last matches played weeks
I've played a lot in the last couple of weeks and I sometimes lack a bit of sharpness. Between matches I do nothing but rest.
court knowing tough walk
It was very tough to walk on the court without really knowing your opponent.
gave happy putting second serves step
I started with not putting enough first serves in and that gave her some opportunities on the second serve to step in and really play hard. I'm not very happy about that,
forward great looking match next number playing though week
It would be great (to end 2004 at number one), ... Hopefully, I can make it this week even though I know it will be very tough. She's been playing well also. I'm looking forward to the next match every day.
aggressive likes move
You just have to move well, be ready, be aggressive yourself, not let her do what she likes to do, which is dictating the game, which is very tough. That's all I can tell you.
felt match seriously took
You know, I felt I took that match very seriously and didn't really let her get into the match,
convinced despite injury squad strong ties win won
We have a very strong squad and I'm convinced I'm not the only one able to win a singles. We have won many ties despite injury worries.
ball maybe powerful putting score taking tall
Obviously, just putting the ball in and taking the opportunities when I would have them was probably going to be the key. I didn't think, though, that it was going to be this kind of score or this kind of a match. Yeah, I mean, she made way too many errors...She's tall and she's already very powerful for 16. Maybe sometimes not so coordinated, but this is probably going to come.
happy overall played tough
On my side, it was a little up and down, ... When someone doesn't let you get too much rhythm, it's tough to really get into a match. I think I played a little up and down, but overall I'm pretty happy to be going to the semifinals again.
good match played second tough
She played a good match and she made it tough in the second set,
australian easy forward looking match open played playing
She is playing really well at the moment. She played well at the Australian Open as well. It won't be an easy match for sure. I am looking forward to the match.
ball both credit deep hard hits played players three
She is one of the two or three players who hits the ball the hardest. She played really well. She hit very hard on both sides, and very long. I couldn't hit deep enough for her to be annoyed, so all credit to her.
good legs moving played
My legs were not really moving very well. And then she played a good first set.
consistent court felt finish good loves points rhythm
I felt pretty good on the court out there today, ... I really felt my game, right from the beginning, was consistent and I didn't let her really get into her rhythm and finish the points pretty quickly, as she loves to do.
