I've had so much success there, it's the place I feel like I've done the most damage. You can't let a game or two over the course of 75 or 100 games determine how you feel.
It's a great place -- the park in which I've had the most success in my career. I love that park, regardless of the last thing that happened there. I always have a short memory, which is important, because what happened yesterday is irrelevant.
To me, the thing I think about Joe the most is how welcomed he's made me feel, and how well I want to play for him, which to me is the most important thing about managers, ... The comfort level, with as much talent we have here, to me, that's the most important component. It's not really X's and O's. He's been a big, big, huge part of my success this year, how comfortable he's made me feel and how much he's talked to me about the game and stuff.

You can have fun, respect the game and also play it hard. When you have that combination, you're going to put yourself in a position to be successful.
He's not in awe of anything or anyone. He's very respectful, but he's been around us for a while now. He feels comfortable, and that's half the battle of being successful here -- knowing these are your peers and if you can hang with them in a social setting, the rest of it follows naturally.
We've been swinging the bats progressively better the last three days. We have to work on being more consistent.
We were like desperate animals trying to survive, and animals are most dangerous when they are in a snare.
We win and lose as a team ... I'm as proud of these guys ... We left our guts on the field.
I've never seen Matsui ever make a mistake. That's the weirdest thing.
It would be a great privilege, ... I think this is the year that anything's possible, because I don't think there's one runaway guy.
It was tough ... on me to be honest with you. I can remember in December sitting in my house, and my mom and my wife having a debate for two hours about it.
It was tough on me. I understand that most people will just ridicule and make fun of it, but unless you understand my background, where I come from and the passion that my family and my heritage holds, I don't expect anyone to understand that.
I've been watching him pitch for 18 or 20 years. You've got to get him in the first three innings, or he gets momentum.
