The best part is you always have friends around, no matter what. It's either one, two or all three of them. You always have somebody to be with or walk to class with or just hang out and talk.
No matter who we play, it's all about seizing the moment.
After Matt and David and Peep left, we decided we were always going to have to stick together. It was going to be about us, it was about the team, it wasn't about one unique player.
Maybe we don't look like we're tough guys, but the bottom line is we get the job done. I know, Villanova was tough. They were city kids. But we're going to play our game no matter who the other team has.
There was not much we could do (last season) because it wasn't our team. It was frustrating at times because we wanted to push the ball. (Anthony) Roberson and Matt Walsh just wanted to walk ... it ... up. I loved playing with those guys but it was frustrating at times.
I mean, it was like that. We're used to playing against bigger players and stronger players. But we had to come in and just get the job done.
I knew I wasn't going to come in here and get 20 rebounds. Boxing out a guy like him is really a tough job.
Everybody was really excited, but we all know what time it is. We all know that this is just the beginning.
That has nothing to do with it, that was last year. It is exciting to play against Villanova, and we're looking forward to it.
Against a team like this, you're going to get 10 or 15 blocks the way we play, but we know we're not going to do that against an SEC team, so it's just something that happens, I guess.
I'm going to try to just go around him and use my quickness.
If I were a fan, I'd be rooting for them, too. But I'm playing. So we have to go out and take care of things.
I'll be really happy to play in front of a Gator crowd.
Oh man, I was so tired of all the Cinderella talk. The bottom line was we had to come out and win this game.
